These bone dice are numbered in the Viking style with 1 opposite 2, 3 opposite 4 and 5 opposite 6 - not like modern dice were opposite sides add up to 7.

Pewter Pictish Neck Chain

This chain, in pewter, is based on several massive silver chains found across Scotland. They are identified as being Pictish in origin by the symbols on the connecting ring and probably date to the 7th or 8th century AD. Presumably they were worn by high ranking individuals such as chiefs or war leaders.
